Welcome to BHN, where we're all about creating, sharing, and supporting impactful journalism. We believe in the incredible power of storytelling to inspire action and connect people. Through our partnerships, we strive to tell stories that help you understand the world, tackle challenges, and make a lasting difference.
Let's talk about how it works: We use a mix of video, photography, podcasts, and written stories to bring you captivating narratives from around the world. Our content covers diverse locations, from New Guinea to your own neighborhood. We want to host thousands of channels on our site, including yours. These channels can be followed by anyone interested in your content.
Channels are your personal spaces to share your stories. They come in different categories, from BHN News and Stories to local stories and stories of kindness and positivity. Share your content through videos, pictures, written stories, or podcasts. We'll share your channel within our network and give it the spotlight it deserves.
How does it work?
How can you get involved? We're always looking for volunteers and journalists from around the world. If you have a story to tell or are already into storytelling, become a BHN Reporter. Start your own channel and share your work with us. You'll get full credit for your contributions, and we'll link back to your work, websites, and stories. Our long-term goal is to support upcoming BHN Reporters with new equipment and funding to continue telling their stories as we grow.
Here are some important BHN procedures:
- All content for the BHN website or marketing materials must be approved by a registered BHN staff member.
- We retain the right to refuse any article.
- Our guiding principles are rooted in the Christian non-denominational Church, using the ESV, KJV, and NIV as our moral compass.
- We're all about sharing verified, fact-based stories. Our commitment is to truth and taking responsibility for our reporting. We aim to make a real difference by helping people tell their stories and raise funds for meaningful causes.
Now, let's talk about how to submit your content:
- Copy should be in MS Office, Open Office, or Notepad formats.
- Images should be under 10mb in size and in standard formats like JPG, TIF, PSD, PNG, or RAW. No explicit content allowed.
- You need consent from the photographer for all images.
- Videos can be in formats like MPG, MP4, AVI, MOV, or MP2, or you can submit through YouTube or Embedding code.
- Audio should be in mp3 format.
